Description
The LSB210 is a Submersible S-Beam Jr.™ Load Cell in FUTEK’s Load Cell Series. This waterproof* force sensor is capable of servicing numerous applications industry-wide where protection from liquids is required. This product offers a perfect mixture of size, accuracy and the assurance of an overload protection. The LSB210 Submersible Load Cell is available in 100g to 100lbs (1N – 445N) capacities.
With all of its design features this Miniature S-Beam Jr.™ Submersible Load Cell has a high accuracy with a thickness of 0.25 inches and profile height of 0.75 inches it is suitable for critical applications involving tight or limited space. This S-Beam Jr.™ Load Cell can be modified or customized to meet your requirements and most capacities are in our inventory making them available for 24 hour shipping.
NOTE: FUTEK makes force and torque measurement solutions that are “water resistant” or submersible for a given period of time and depth and normally in freshwater since salt water will accelerate corrosion. Please check the spec sheet for exact technical specifications.

LSB210 S Beam Jr.® Load Cell is a high-performing and waterproof tension and compression miniature load cell. Featuring high accuracy, durability and integrated overload protection, this submersible sensor is available in a wide range of capacities from 100g to 100lb (1N – 445N).
As an IP68-rated device, the waterproof load sensor can reliably operate in environments with liquids or moisture without degrading performance and accuracy.
LSB210 underwater* load cell is also available in versions that have vacuum compatibility, higher IP rating, and high-temperature compensation.
Compact package
With dimensions of only 0.75in × 0.25in × 0.63in (19.1mm × 6.4mm × 16.0mm) (excluding the connector) and a weight of only 0.3oz (9g) for aluminum models and 0.9oz (26g) for the stainless steel model, the highly compact LSB210 sensor can be used in tight or limited space applications where other sensors just won’t fit.

Overload protection
The LSB210 is rated for 10x overload protection for tension and compression for all capacities below 100lb, and 2x tension overload protection for the 100lb capacity. The unique design protects the sensor from damage during accidental overload. It also decreases the risk of mechanical breakage and yield as the overload stop helps to stop the part from deflecting, which prevents the metal from going into its yield state.

Immersion protection
The LSB210 has a rating of IP68 which makes it protected from dust and water resistant when submersed in up to 50ft in fresh water for less than one week. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications including those operating in very humid environments as well as those where there is a presence of liquids.
Highly accurate
The LSB210 delivers a highly accurate performance with nonlinearity starting at 0.1%.
Excellent thermal performance
LSB210 provides reliable performance over a wide temperature range: 0 to 160°F (–17 to 72°C). The excellent thermal performance allows you to use the sensor in various applications and environments.
Peerless durability
Unparalleled quality and robust construction make the LSB210 extremely resilient and long-lasting. The sensor has been tested to +100 million fully reversing fatigue cycles without failure. It has also been designed with a very high level of intrinsic durability for higher system uptime and a significantly longer operational life.
Flexible cable
The LSB210 sensor is offered with a 29 AWG, 4-conductor, 5-foot (1.5m) long cable with spiral shielding and a silicone outer jacket. The cable is highly flexible while still offering protection from outer interference. The cable is highly flexible, supporting easy cable management in tight, intricate applications where other cable materials will be problematic.

Best-in-class material
LSB210 is available in both aluminum and stainless steel construction. The aluminum construction for 100g to 10lb capacities provides superior performance, resistance to a wide range of harsh environmental conditions, and an extremely long life span.
The 100lb model is made of aerospace-grade 17-4 precipitation hardened stainless steel, one of the best material options for load cells. It provides high strength, high hardness, and corrosion resistance over a wide temperature range.

Calibration included
The LSB210 has been tested by FUTEK’s world-class calibration department and is NIST traceable. We can also reduce hidden costs and setup time by calibrating your sensor with FUTEK electronics of your choice. In addition, we offer calibration to ANSI Z540-1 and ISO 17025 standards upon request.
