In order to receive ASQ CQA certification, individuals must demonstrate their proficiency and comprehension of auditing principles and practices. Certified Quality Auditors are able to analyze all elements of a quality system and evaluate whether a system is able to adhere to the criteria of industrial management, quality evaluation, and control systems.
"Earning an ASQ certification is more than a great accomplishment - it's a formal recognition of professionals that they have demonstrated an understanding of, and a commitment to, quality practices in their field," said ASQ Chair Cecilia Kimberlin. "This distinction represents an investment in one’s future and provides a competitive advantage to those who earn ASQ certifications."
Over 190,000 individuals have received ASQ certification since the first examination was administered in 1968. In order to qualify for the examination, an individual must have at least eight years of work in the Quality field.
