Miniature Threaded In Line Load Cell

Compact, precise and water resistant
Description
Model LCM375 is an In Line Load Cell built for Endurance, Press, or Inline applications. The standard LCM375 In Line Load Cell model has a very robust construction available in 17-4 Stainless Steel, with male threads on both ends and a 10 feet long 28 AWG 4 conductor shielded PVC cable. You will also find options for external matched output or a Teflon cable readily available. For more capacity options please see the LCM300 or LCM325.
The LCM375 In Line Load Cell offers high accuracy and high stiffness. It has Nonlinearity of ±0.5% and Deflection of 0.001” to 0.002” nominal. The standard LCM375 In Line Load Cell can be modified or customized to meet your requirements and most capacities are in our inventory, making them available for 24 hour shipping.
Product Highlights And Features
- Miniature size
- Fast response and low deflection
- Robust cable strain relief
- For use in both tension and compression
With a cover height of 1.03in (26.2mm) tall and a diameter of 1.12in (28.3mm), LCM 375 is a highly accurate, reliable and stable miniature load cell for tension and compression measurement. Boasting a nonlinearity of ±0.5%, this fast-response sensor has a robust construction that makes it suitable for a wide range of endurance, press, or inline applications and environments.
The LCM375 is now available with an integrated connector that makes it fully IP67-rated for high water resistance and temporary submersibility. The connectorized 4-position micro receptacle allows you to easily remove the wire from the sensor like a plug from a socket. This new feature protects the sensor from cable damage, as you can easily replace a faulty wire.
Robust construction
The center covers are seam-welded to the sensor body, providing outstanding strength and enhanced protection against physical damage in addition to withstanding other harsh environmental conditions. A special heat treatment process has been applied to the flexure to improve durability, extending the life-cycle of the sensor.
Plug in, plug out
The updated version of the LCM375 now has an integrated 4-position micro receptacle that easily disconnects a damaged cable, which saves time, leads to higher system availability and reduces total cost of ownership.
The 4-position micro cable connector is shown here on another sensor model.
Conductor Braided Shielded Clear PVC
For the standard versions with an integrated cable, a braided shield physically covers the signal wires while blocking any interference from stray magnetic and static electric fields. Additionally, the metallic load cell housing blocks all interference and unwanted environmental conditions that would reduce the accuracy and reliability.

Eliminating moisture
The robust assembly process of the 4-position micro receptacle version eliminates moisture ingress through the connection location. With an IP67 rating, the product can withstand submersion in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes. This opens up more options for applications as it will allow outdoor usage in wet, rainy, or highly humid conditions.
High stiffness
The LCM375 has a high stiffness and high natural frequency response rates, hence maintaining accuracy over its entire service life. Together with the robust construction, this feature makes this sensor an ideal load cell for dynamic applications.
Easy mounting options
The LCM375 has male threads on both ends for easy and flexible mounting options. Also, the compact design allows you to mount it in locations that require a small footprint, especially those applications with limited vertical space. The lightweight load cell weighs 8oz (227g).
High Accuracy
The LCM375 load cell provides enhanced accuracy, performance, and long-term stability. In particular, it has a nonlinearity of ±0.5% and a low deflection of 0.002in nom.

Best-in-class material
The exceptional quality of this sensor makes it highly durable and reliable. Its body is made of aerospace-grade 17-4 precipitation hardened stainless steel, which provides high strength, high hardness, low hysteresis and creep properties, and corrosion resistance over a wide temperature range.

Calibration included
The LCM375 has been tested by FUTEK’s world-class calibration department and is NIST traceable. We can also reduce hidden costs and setup time by calibrating your sensor with FUTEK electronics of your choice. In addition, we offer calibration to ANSI Z540-1 and ISO 17025 standards upon request.
