Description
Model LCM350 is a Tension and Compression Load Cell built for Endurance, Press, or Inline applications. The standard LCM350 Compression load cell application is available in 17-4 Stainless Steel, with male threads on both ends and a 10 feet long 28 AWG 4 conductor shielded PVC cable. Teflon cable options are available. For more capacity options please see the LCM300, LCM325, or LCM375.
The Tension and Compression Load Cell offers high accuracy and high stiffness. It has Nonlinearity of ±0.5%, Deflection of 0.001” to 0.002” nominal. The standard LCM350 Tension and Compression Load Cell can be modified or customized to meet your requirements and most capacities are in our inventory, making them available for 24-hour shipping.

With a cover height of 1.03in (26.2mm) and diameter of 0.96in (24.4mm), LCM350 is a highly accurate, reliable and stable miniature load cell for tension and compression measurement. Boasting a nonlinearity of ±0.5%, deflection of 0.002in nom, this fast-response sensor has a robust construction that makes it suitable for a wide range of endurance, press, or inline applications and environments.
The LCM350 models with 5000lb capacity and metric thread have been updated with a connectorized cable for easy connection and disconnection. The other products are currently offered in the standard version with an integrated cable.
Robust construction
The center covers are seam-welded to the sensor body, providing outstanding strength and enhanced protection against physical damage in addition to withstanding other harsh environmental conditions. A special heat treatment process has been applied to the flexure to improve durability, extending the life-cycle of the sensor.Additionally, IP64-rated housing prevents the ingress of dust and splashes of water from all directions.
Plug in, plug out
The LCM350 with 5000lb capacity and metric thread is now offered with an integrated connector that easily disconnects a damaged cable, which saves time, leads to higher system availability and reduces total cost of ownership. Besides the connectorized version, the original model with an integrated cable is still available.

Conductor Braided Shielded Clear PVC
For the items with an integrated cable, a braided shield physically covers the signal wires while blocking any interference from stray magnetic and static electric fields. Additionally, the metallic load cell housing blocks all interference and unwanted environmental conditions that would reduce the accuracy and reliability.
Easy mounting options
The LCM350 has male threads on both ends for easy and flexible mounting options. Also, the compact design allows you to mount it in locations that require a small footprint, especially those applications with limited vertical space.
High stiffness
The LCM350 has a high stiffness and high natural frequency response rates, hence maintaining accuracy over its entire service life. Together with the robust construction, this feature makes this sensor an ideal load cell for dynamic applications.
