S-Beam Tension and Compression Load Cell

High performance for high capacities
Description
The LSB350 S Beam Load Cell offers a compact design for platforms, silos, or scales. The Standard LSB350 S Type Load Cell model has female threads, comes in both Anodized Aluminum (500 lbs – 1,000 lbs) and 17-4 Stainless Steel construction (2,000lbs), with 4 Pin Lemo Receptacle. It is also available in metric threads.
This Shear Beam Load Cell model has a high accuracy with a Nonlinearity of ±0.05%, deflection as low as 0.010” nominal and an operating temperature of -60° F to 200° F. It can be modified or customized to meet your requirements and most capacities are in our inventory, making them available for 24 hour shipping. Similar to our entire Load Cell product line this model is manufactured in the US and uses metal foil strain gauge technology.
Product Highlights And Features
- For in line use in both tension and compression
- Notable nonlinearity
- Connector or robust cable strain relief
The LSB350 is a compact, high-performance load cell available in capacities from 500 to 1000 lb. Constructed from anodized aluminum, it provides metric-sized female threads and includes a 4-position micro connector to facilitate cable installation and maintenance.
The high accuracy and thermally compensated load cell is suitable for critical applications that have large temperature swings. It is also available in versions that have vacuum compatibility, higher IP rating, and high-temperature compensation.
Compact package
The LSB350 measures 3in × 1.12in × 2in (76.2mm × 28.4mm × 50.8mm) with a weight of only 7.5oz (212g). This makes the highly compact LSB350 suitable for applications where other sensors of similar capacity just won’t fit because of size constraints.

Highly accurate
The LSB350 delivers a highly accurate performance with a deflection of 0.008 and 0.012 in. nom and nonlinearity at ±0.1%.
Excellent thermal performance
LSB350 provides reliable performance over a wide temperature range of –60 to 200°F (–50 to 93°C). The excellent thermal performance allows you to use the sensor in various applications and environments.
Plug in, plug out
A high-quality 4 position micro receptacle allows for easy and simple cable connection and disconnection. A damaged sensor cable can be replaced without having to replace or disassemble the LSB350 sensor or any other system component, which saves time, leads to higher system availability and reduces the total cost of ownership. It also simplifies the installation process, reducing installation time and maximizing uptime.

Best-in-class material
LSB350 is available in anodized aerospace-grade aluminum. This aluminum construction provides superior performance, resistance to a wide range of harsh environmental conditions, and an extremely long life span.

Calibration included
The LSB350 has been tested by FUTEK’s world-class calibration department and is NIST traceable. We can also reduce hidden costs and setup time by calibrating your sensor with FUTEK electronics of your choice. In addition, we offer calibration to ANSI Z540-1 and ISO 17025 standards upon request.
