The S Beam Load Cell offers a compact design for platforms, silos, or scales. The Standard LSB302 S Beam Load Cell model has male threads, comes in Anodized Aluminum construction, . It is also available in metric threads.
The S Beam Load Cell has a high accuracy with a Nonlinearity of ±0.05%, deflection of 0.01” nominal and an operating temperature of -60° F to 200° F. This s beam Load Cell can be modified or customized to meet your requirements and most capacities are in our inventory, making them available for 24 hour shipping. Similar to our entire Load Cell product line this model is manufactured in the US and uses metal foil strain gauge technology.

LSB302 is a compact, high-accuracy load cell suitable for a wide range of applications. Its made of anodized aluminum construction, has female threads and is available in capacities between 25 to 300lb. The model has an integrated connector, which offers easy cable connection and disconnection. Some capacities feature an integrated cable.
The LSB302 is available in a customized version that has semi-submersible capabilities, making it suitable for applications in moist environments, as well as versions that have vacuum compatibility, higher IP rating, and high-temperature compensation.
Compact package
With dimensions of only 2.5in × 0.6in × 2.05in inches (63.5mm × 16.9mm × 51.9mm) and a weight of only 5oz (142g), the highly compact LSB302 sensor can be used in applications where other sensors of similar capacity just won’t fit because of size constraints.
Overload protection
The LSB302 is rated for 10x overload protection for tension and compression (25 to 100lb), 5x tension, and compression overload protection for the 300lb. The unique overload stop design protects the sensor from damage during accidental overload. It also decreases the risk of mechanical breakage and yield as the overload protection helps to stop the part from deflecting, which prevents the metal from going into its yield state.
Made to be accurate
The LSB302 delivers a highly accurate performance with nonlinearity starting at 0.05% for all capacities except 300lb, which has 0.01% nonlinearity.
Excellent thermal performance
LSB302 provides reliable performance over a wide temperature range of –60 to 200°F (–50 to 93°C) for the connectorized version. The excellent thermal performance allows you to use the sensor in various applications and environments.
Plug in, plug out
The LSB302 sensor has a high-quality 4-Pin Lemo connector that allows for easy and simple cable connection and disconnection. A damaged sensor cable can be replaced without having to replace or disassemble the LSB302 sensor or any other system component, which saves time, leads to higher system availability, and reduces the total cost of ownership. It also simplifies the installation process, reducing installation time and maximizing uptime. The 100lb capacity is also available with an integrated cable.
