FUTEK’s Rotary Torque Sensor - Non contact shaft to shaft with Encoder offers a unique solution for torque auditing applications. The TRS805 Non Contact Torque Sensor is available in a wide capacity range of 0.2 Nm – 5,000 Nm and has a high speed range of up to 50,000 RPM, thus making it capable to support a wide range of applications. Applications include automotive braking, engine and transmission dynamometers, torque table, fastener testing, aircraft engine testing, and marine shaft torque measurements with shaft horsepower monitors
This new digital Torque Sensor was manufactured to sustain high peak torques to average torques while producing precise measurements with an integrated overload protection of up to 5,000 Nm. This particular torque sensor in conforming to CE standards with a output signal of +/- 5 VDC. Torque signal is contactless from the rotating shaft and is transmitted digitally and is then transformed into an analog output signal. These features allow the TRS805 to be used in a wide variety of industries such as: automotive and vehicle engineering, aeronautical, mechanical and process plant engineering, and in electric motor manufacture, where the torque sensor encoder data is crucial for closed-loop process control.
